Open - Friday/Saturday Evening Doubles Curling League
Doubles curling is a fast-paced, two-person version of the traditional game. For this league, each team is made up of any two players, who work together to throw, sweep, and call strategy. Unlike four-person curling, only five stones are delivered per team each end, and two pre-placed stones (one guard, one in the house) create action right from the start. Players alternate roles, with one throwing the first and last stones while the other delivers the middle three, though sweeping and strategy are shared. The format emphasizes quick decision-making, strong communication, and versatility, making it exciting for both players and fans.
